Presentation of Research Results from the Horizon 2020 Project ARETE at the IEEE GEM Conference
11/21/2023On November 21st, 2023, Dr. Jennifer Tiede presented research results from the project ARETE at the IEEE CTSoc Conference "Gaming, Entertainment and Media" (GEM) at the University of the West Indies, Barbados. The study focussed on an analysis of the motivational effects of gamified Augmented Reality learning apps for STEM education.

In the context of the WueDive pilot project "Virtual Learning Enviroments", the next professional development course for lecturers will take place on 30/11/ and 07/12/2023. The course is about using Virtual Reality in teaching while acknowledging diversity.
moreA team from the chair of school pedagogy presented a concept for professional development of teacher educators with use of Social Virtual Reality at the closing conference of the CoTeach project. This project was funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
moreFrom 2019 to 2023, the team of the chair of school pedagogy evaluated effects and conditions of using Augmented Reality in school lessons at European schools in an interdisciplinary research consortium with nine parters. The results of the final review now confirm the success of this international research project.
