Study Structure

The Master's programme consists of three compulsory part (70 ECTS), a compulsory elective part (20 ECTS), and a Master's thesis (30 ECTS). Each part is made up of several modules that students are required to complete:

Master-Thesis (30 ECTS credits)

To complete the Master's degree, students are required to write a Master's thesis, for which you will receive 30 ECTS credits. The thesis is typically written in English but can also be completed in German by prior arrangement.

Possible areas

The Master's thesis can be written within the broad fields of adult education, continuing education, and management in lifelong education, following consultation with the thesis supervisor. Students are encouraged to develop topics that align with their chosen electives.

The thesis may take the form of either a literature review or an empirical study.
