Pre-First Steps Meeting

We are excited to welcome you to our university as part of the upcoming exchange program for the next semester! We know that studying abroad is an incredible opportunity, and we want to ensure that your journey to Germany is as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

To help you prepare for your time here, we are organizing a Pre-First Steps Meeting, which will provide important information about the documentation process, as well as the steps involved in your arrival to Germany. This meeting will be a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have and for us to guide you through the necessary procedures.

During the meeting, we will discuss:

• The process of gathering and submitting important documents
• Visa and residence permit requirements
• Housing options and accommodation arrangements
• Health insurance requirements and options available for international students
• Opportunities to learn German and enhance your language skills during your stay
• Tips and advice for your stay here, both academically and culturally
• Steps to take upon arrival in Germany, including registration and settling in
